Facts and details for Lloyd Harlow Hardaker:

• He lived at 1853 Wall St. In Portland, Multnomah, Oregon, United States in 1930. 3

• His obituary was published in the Postmedia on 24 Mar 2018. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Lloyd Hardaker.

Lloyd is survived by his four children, Gary, Gail (Al), Carol Anne (Dan), and Glenn; 8 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Lloyd was born in Brandon, Manitoba to Albert and Jean Hardaker but spent most of his life in the Vancouver area. He was an avid skier (from his teen years to age 75). He began skiing up on Hollyburn mountain in the mid 1940's where he met the love of his life, Alice Hardaker (nee Laidman). Alice predeceased Lloyd in 2008.

Dad enjoyed sailing and fishing and in his younger days he would race "flatties" from Kitsilano over to Bowen Island. Eventually he built a small boat that he used out in the Strait and Howe Sound areas for fishing; often participating in the Sun Salmon Derby.

Lloyd was active in the Thunderbird Gun Club, competing locally and internationally; winning numerous trophies in the Fast Draw Division.

Lloyd excelled in everything he did and leather crafting, a favourite hobby, was no exception.

Dad will be greatly missed by all. Peace be with you Dad. God bless.
