Died Suddenly

Friends of Mrs. Albert D. Clingen were shocked to learn of her sudden death on Monday afternoon, Sept. 22, at her home, Apple 5111 • She was a daughter of the late Norman E., Otto
and his wife, Martha M. Swerdfager, and her maiden name was Effie L. Otto.
Besides her sorrowing husband, Albert D. Clingen, she leaves two sons and one daughter: Otto O. Clingen of Eastview; Lloyd P. Clingen, Martintown, Mrs. Harry D. Hayes (Verla), Lakeview Terrace, Deschenes, Que and one sister Miss Eva Otto, Ottawa,
who was with her when she died.

The funeral was largely attended, Service was held at her home on Thursday, Sept. 25th and was conducted by Rev. Scott Milley, pastor of Zion United Church, Apple Hill, assisted by Rev. E. A. Kirker of St. Andrews United Church, Martintown. She was buried in North Branch cemetery.

The pallbearers were'97E. W. Munro, Joseph Lefebvre, Dan S. McLennan, Grant McRae, Alvin Kinnear and Adrian Van Putten, all close neighbors.
Relatives and friends present were; Mr. and Mrs. Hedley Boyd, Osgoode Station, Miss Myrtle McWhinnie, R.N., Frank A. Bergeron and son, Cornwall Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Waldnof and
Mrs. John McMaster, Finch; Oral Otto, Norman Otto and Andrew Bonsceour, Detroit; W. L. Atkinson and Peter D. Christie, Ottawa; Mr. and Mrs Henry McWhinnie, and Wilham McWhinnie, Williamstown, Mrs. Hawn, Miss Eva Hawn, Clarence Hawn, Miss Dorothy Arbuthnot, Mr. and Mrs.
Kenneth McEwan, Lunenburg Rev. C. F. Gauthier, Lochiel, and other friends from Martintown, Maxville, Monckland and Cornwall.
Many floral triutes were received, showing the high esteem in which the deceased was held. 10 11
