Mrs. T. J. Johnston

The death of Sarah Jane Johnston, widow of the late T. J. Johnston occurred at Swan River on Saturday. Mrs. Johnston was born in Quebec City and resided in Brandon for many years before going to live with her daughter in Bowsman.

Four sons and four daughters survive: Lester and G. W., in Brandon; W.J. and Noble, Winnipeg; Mrs. W. Wilson, Toronto; Mrs. Roy McBurney, Elgin, Mrs. P. A. Duncalfe, East Kildonan, and Mrs. E. Metcalfe, of Bowsman. There are nineteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at Brockie Chapel on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the family plot in Hamiota cemetery. 9

The cause of his death was uremia/prostate obstruction.
