On Monday, October 15, 1990 at the Peace River Hospital in Peace River, Alta., Sarah Agnes Duncalfe passed away.

She is survived by her husband Percivale of Peace River; four sons, Stewart and wife Beatrice of Prince Albert, Sask., Lester and wife Grace of Palmer Town, Ont., Lyle and wife Victoria of Osoyoos, B.C., Delbert of Victoria, B.C.; two daughters, Ethelyn and husband Richard McBurney of Brockville, Ont., Shirley and husband Elisha Asselstine of Peace River, Alta; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and one sister Jean Metcalfe of Kingston, Ont.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 21 at 7:00 p.m. at the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 232 Kennedy St. Funeral servies will take place on Monday, October 22 at 2:30 p.m. at the Calvary Temple, 400 Hargrave St., with Reverend Jeffreys Williamson officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Living Memorial Plan of the Pentacostal Assembly.

A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnized at the house of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Johnston, Brandon, on Wednesday afternoon, June 22nd, when their third daughter, Agnes Mabel, was united in marriage to Mr. Percival Duncalfe, of Miami.

The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a dress of steel grey satin trimmed with gold beads and wearing the customary orange blossoms. She carried a large bouquet of carnations and maiden hair fern, The bridesmaid, Miss Rhoda Johnston, sister of the bride, also wore grey satin over georgette crepe. The groom was supported by his brother, Mr. Bertram Duncalfe, also of Miami.

The groom's gift to the bride was a string of pearls, to the bridesmaid a pearl brooch, to the groomsman a signet ring.

After the ceremony the guests partook of a sumptuous breakfast. About eight o'clock the happy couple left by car amidst showers of confetti and good wishes for Souris, and from thense to Winnipeg. They intend travelling a week by car before returning to their home at Miami, Man.

Mr. and Mrs. Percival Duncalfe celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 22, 1981.

An open house reception is planned for July 18, to be held in their home, 252 Greene Avenue, East Kildonan. A family dinner will be held on July 17 in honor of the couple.

Out of town guests will include family and friends residing across Canada. Mr. and Mrs. Duncalfe's attendants, Mr. R. McBurney of Souris, will attend the family dinner, but Mr. Bert Duncalfe of Salmon Arm, B.C. will be unable to attend due to failing health.

Mr. and Mrs. Duncalfe were married on June 22, 1981 in Brandon, Manitoba. They resided in Miami and Swan River Valley districts of Manitoba prior to settling in Winnipeg in 1941. They have four sons and two daughters, 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Their son, Rev. Jack Duncalfe, who was serving as a missionary in Africa, passed away in May, 1980.

Mr. and Mrs. Duncalfe, a gracious and God fearing couple, raised their children to know and love their Lord.
