CHARBONNEAU, Rita Quintal

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Rita Quintal Charbonneau She passed away on October 10, 2017, at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, at the age of 94. Beloved wife of late Walter Charbonneau and daughter of late Rose Martin and late Alexandre Quintal. She leaves behind her son Denis (Carol Vezina) and her daughter Lynn (Ken Vye); her cherished grandsons, Mark (Andrea Stewart), Michael (Victoria Alvarez-Ude), Nicholas (Crystal Lee Williams) and her precious great-grandson Cade. She also leaves her brother Roger (Vivianne), nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her brother Harvey (Lorraine). Private family service and interment was held on Monday, October 16, 2017. Donations to the Parkinson Society would gladly be accepted in her memory. Rev. Father E. Olivier solemnized the marriage last evening of Miss Rita Quintal, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Quintal, to Mr. Alex Walter Charboneau. son of Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo " Charbonneau, in St. Joan of Arc church, Westboro. Given away by her father, the bride wore a sky-blue English gabardine suit, a matching hat and a shoulder knot of American Beauty roses. Following a reception at the home of the bride's parents, 582 Churchill avenue, Mr. and Mrs. Charboneau left on a short trip, the bride travelling in a black boucle coat over her wedding ensemble. Mr. and Mrs. Charbonneau will reside in Ottawa.
