Peacefully at the Community Nursing Home, Alexandria on Saturday, October 2, 2010. Mary Elizabeth (Bessie) Clingen (nee Majerrison) of Alexandria at the grand age of 102 years. Loving mother of John Clingen of Alexandria, the late Kenneth Clingen and cherished grandmother of Tracey and Renata Clingen. Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Jim Majerrison and the late Amelia MacArthur and sister of the late Annie Wyatt and the late Neil Majerrison. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd. 114 Main Street South, Alexandria (613)525-2772 on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A celebration of Elizabeth's life will be held at the Alexandria United Church (Church on the Hill) on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Alexandria United Church Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Hopital Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a memorial to Elizabeth, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows '96 memories live. 3
