Edwin Beach Laid To Rest
A large number of friends and relatives paid final tribute to Edwin Beach, formerly of Winchester, who died Thursday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L. E. Strader, Hawthorne, Ont.

Mr. Beach had been an elder order of the United Church at Win- encoder, where he taught Sunday School classes for many years.

The funeral was conducted in the chapel of Hulse and Playfair, Ottawa, by Rev. John Macaskill of Ramsayville. Interment was in Maple Ridge Cemetery, Winchester.

Mr. Beach was born 90 years ago in Edwardsburg Township, a son of Philemon Beach and Harriet Hunter. His wife, the late Nellie Edith Shaver, died 14 years ago.

Surviving are: One son, Rev. H.M. Beach of Finch; and two daughters, Mrs. L. E. Strader of Hawthorne, and Miss Jean Beach of the Ottawa Public School teaching staff; also a brother, M. W. Beach of Winchester. He was also well known in Elma, where he lived for a number of years. ⁴
