Peacefully at his residence on Monday, February 28, 2011, surrounded by his family. Husband of Nancy Fennell. Father of David and his wife Robin and Bob and his wife Nancy. Grandfather of Zoe, David, Margaux, Sophie, Victoria, Michael and Andrew. Brother of Bill, Babs Woods and Ben. Predeceased by his eldest son Michael. Graduate of University of Toronto, Cambridge and Harvard MBA. David spent his career with the Hamilton Group, starting businesses in the U.K., France, Germany, Canada and others. Aside from his extended family he will miss most his duck marsh, the FT, hot baths, bordeaux red. On the other hand he will not miss taxes, physical exercise and jobs requiring tools. Special thank you to Michelle and her health care team. A funeral service will be held in GRACE CHURCH ON-THE-HILL, 300 Lonsdale Road, Toronto on Friday, March 4, 2001 at 11:30 a.m. If desired, donations to Ducks Unlimited Canada (www.ducks.ca), would be appreciated by David and the Ducks.
