(W.W.II Captain. Served overseas with the 81st Artillery Company RCASC). Peacefully at the Perley and Rideau Veterans Health Centre on Saturday, December 7, 1996, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Lorene (Lover) Fisher. Loving father of Lynne (John Hendershot) of Calgary, Alberta and Vicky Trowbridge of Kingston, Ontario. Dear grandfather of Jeffrey (Susan), Scott and Kevin Hendershot and Jennifer, Stewart and Mark Trowbridge. Also survived by a brother, Stuart and a sister, Mary Stoate. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue (at Byron), on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial Service will be held at Rideau Park United Church, 2203 Alta Vista Drive, on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Private interment at South Gower Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the staff at the Perley and Rideau Veterans Health Centre and Dr. L. Bloom for their caring support. 16



He was buried at the South Gower Cemetery, section W, lot 25. On 10 Dec 1996.
