He lived in Spalding, Division 14, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1921. 2

His obituary was published in 1944. It read as follows:

P.O. Hugh A. Adams
of Springside, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Adams, now esiding at Sutherland, previously reported missing on active service overseas, is now for official purposes presumed dead. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Eunice Adams of Springside; two brothers, Clair of Sutherland, Harold, who is with the active army overseas; two sisters, (Alma) Mrs. H. McCuaig of Winnipeg, and Vera of Calgary, Alta.

Pilot Pfficer Adams enlisted with the R.C.A.F. in May, 1942, and went overseas soon after his graduation as an air gunner at Mont Joli, Quebec, in July 1943. He was reported missing July 29, 1944, following air operations over Hamburg, Germany, shortly before completion of his first tour of operations. 1 3
