GRAMSON _ Earni Adrian February 17, 1922 - December 18, 2004 Earni passed away at the Glamorgan Care Centre in Calgary on Saturday, December 18, 2004 with his loving wife Joyce at his side, and surrounded by his caregivers. Earni was predeceased by his loving parents, Edward and Mary Gramson and his three brothers, Phillip, Walter and Roland, all of Delisle, Sask. Earni is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Joyce of Calgary; three daughters, Darlene Grant of Nanaimo, B.C., Ronaye (Kurly) Lengstaff of Delisle, Sask., grandson Robbie (Vivian) Tanner of Saskatoon, Sask., Joadey Jacksen and her children, Jacolen and Alex, all of Saskatoon, Sask.; one son Garrylee Berthold and his children, LeeAnn, Aaron, Dean and Chad (Serina), all of Edmonton, AB. Earni is also survived by his loving brother Albert and his family of Delisle, Sask. and numerous nieces and nephews. Earni was a kind and loving pop and grandpa to his three stepchildren and families, Jeannie and Dale Wardrop and their children, Sigrid (Steven) Salchert, Shaun Martin and Melissa Stafford; Guy and Kathy Holmes and daughter Sara-Joy (Michael) Visser; Lorne and Pam Holmes and their children, Jennifer (Nick) Ellis, Lorne Jr. (Moname), Trevor, Tasha and Tamara. Numerous extended family members, will cherish Earni's love and memories, including his sister-in-law Sharon and Walter Jackson and family of Victoria, B.C., his sister-in-law Angie Kanash of Lethbridge, AB. Earni also leaves to mourn him, his buddy and great friend, Jerry Henson of Hartell, AB and twelve great-grandchildren. Earni was born on February 17, 1922 in Delisle, Sask. As a young man Earni farmed in Saskatchewan until an accident left him unable to continue. In later years, Earni became a plumbing contractor and owned "Plumbing by Earni" in Calgary for many years. After his retirement, Earni drove for Red Top Taxi in Calgary for ten years and was nominated in 1993 for a "White Hat" Award for excellence and service. Earni touched the hearts of all who knew him and will be greatly missed by his family, friends, co-workers and neighbors. He now resides in a "better place" and watches over all of us. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a Visitation at FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 - 4 Street N.W. (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, December 22, 2004 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Foster's Garden Chapel on Thursday, December 23, 2004 at 12:30 p.m. with Interment to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. The cause of her death was lung disease.
