Another name for Senta was BAROSOH, Tenta.1
There is a Senta with the approximate age who emigrated from Germany to New York City in 1891. In the 1892 New York State census, Herman and Jane Barosch are listed with 4 children. Two of the daughters (Sarah and Martha) are about the same age. In the 1900 US census, the family is in St. Louis, Missouri which matches the information in the 1904 marriage record. However, the family has the name Bauer and the father is listed with a first name of Barosch. In that same census, Sarah is now named Senta. In the 1910 census, they are back in Manhattan and Jennie is widowed. Senta is still living with the family, however Martha is not with them. It would appear this is the right family, but there appears to be numerous errors in the use and spellings of names, likely due to language differences. 2 3 4 5
