MARGUERITE ELEANOR GUNHOUSE (nee ALMOND) Peacefully on Saturday, March 3rd, 2007, Marguerite, Bryant's wife of 50 years, passed away at St. Boniface Hospital with family by her side. She was predeceased by brother Stanley; sisters, Vera and Dora; and survived by sister Joan and husband Bill (Tyler) of Pointe Claire, QC. A wonderful mom and grandma, Marguerite will be greatly missed by her family of whom she was so proud - Blair (Jennifer) of Toronto and daughter Noelle, Craig (Linda) of Winnipeg Beach, Graham (Karen) of Winnipeg and children, Marisa and Matthew, Kevin (Mia) of Calgary and sons, Nicholas, Theo and Marco. She will also be missed by her in-laws, Lowell and Margaret of Toronto and Barrie and Betty of Kingston; as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Marguerite was born and educated in Montreal West where she worked for Bell Canada. She married Bryant in 1956 and in 1972 moved with her young family to Edmonton. In 1978 they moved to the Southdale area of Winnipeg. Marg went back to work for 10 years as a sales representative at Eaton's from when the store was opened in St. Vital. Her hobbies were knitting and sewing, and her work was admired and desired by friends and family. She was as loved as she loved. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2007, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint), followed by a reception. Interment will take place in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Forester, his nurse Thang, the doctors and staff at St. Boniface Hospital. Thanks as well to the Emergency Response Teams that responded so well to the necessary 911 calls over the last few months. In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Marguerite may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 455 LAGIMODIERE BLVD. 982-7550. 1
