He is buried in the Menin Road South Military Cemetery which is located 2 kilometres east of Ieper (Ypres) town centre, on the Meenseweg (N8), connecting Ieper to Menen. From Ieper town centre the Meenseweg is located via Torhoutstraat and right onto Basculestraat. Basculestraat ends at a main cross roads, directly over which begins the Meenseweg. The Menin Road South Military Cemetery is located 800 metres along the Meenseweg on the right hand side of the road.

He served in the military on 18 Mar 1916. 4

His obituary was published in the Toronto Star on 6 Sep 1918 in Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada. It read as follows:

Lieut. B. T. Davidson killed. Mr. Douglas Davidson of Mimico, secretary-treasurer of the Hospital for Sick Children, received a cable yesterday from the British Air Ministry that his only son, Lt. Bryce T. Davidson, who was reported missing on July 2, was believed to have been killed on the same date. Word has been received by Mr. Davidson from his son's commanding officer that he was last seen going over the German lines and five of the machines which went over on the expedition, which was for the purpose of bombing German cities, failed to return. Lieut. Davidson, who was a Parkdale Collegiate old boy, went overseas last August, after training at Deronto and Camp Borden. He was 25 years of age and a graduate of the Osgoode Hall class of 1916. He is married and his wife and infant son reside with his parents.



He was buried at the Prospect Cemetery, section 10, lot 420 in Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada. 5 This gravestone is a memorial and not where he is actually buried.
